Founder & CEO
MARCUS HERFORD
Marcus Herford was born and raised in Dallas, TX. Football has been apart of his life since the age of 4 years old. He attended Cedar Hill High School where Coach Joey McGuire, the current Texas Tech Head Coach was his head coach and now mentor. After a successful High School career as a 3-sport athlete, Marcus Herford was given the opportunity to further his education and playing opportunity with the University of Kansas on a full athletic scholarship. After a redshirt season where Marcus Herford was named scout team player of the year, he saw limited action as a QB and WR in his redshirt freshmen season where he won his first bowl ring. His sophomore season is where the legend of Marcus Herford began as a first-time kick returner. By the time Marcus Herford left the University of Kansas, he was considered the greatest Kick Returner in KU history after breaking many records that still stand today. He also won 2 more bowl games, including the 2007 Orange Bowl. In 2007 Marcus Herford was named Big 12 Special Teams player of the year, 1st Team All-Big 12 and going into the 2008 senior season First Team All American. After being eligible for the 2009 NFL Draft, he began his quest by training in the Prime U camp run by NFL Hall of Famer, Deion Sanders. Unfortunately, Marcus Herford did not get drafted or picked up by NFL teams. This started him on the path he is on to this day.
In 2010, he went on to play professional indoor football for the Green Bay Blizzard. After the season he got back into the work world as a car salesman. After realizing that his passion to be around football was still in play, he would receive a call that would start him on the path to coaching. In 2012, Marcus Herford began his coaching career at Valdosta State University, where in his first season as a coach won the National Championship. Still with the itch to play ball, he ends up playing one year in France and Istanbul. After officially hanging up the cleats, he picked back up the whistle in 2014 and has been coaching ever since. He has coached at 4 colleges and 7 professional teams in the overseas market. He has been a Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator and Special Teams Coordinator in different years of his coaching profession.
